Rockets Over RHEMA 2009 was a HUGE success. If you were able to attend, we want to say thank you for coming. If you missed it, you missed out, but make sure you mark Sunday, July 4, 2010 on your calendar as next year’s event promises to be even better!

Before the event started, the weather cooperated as the temperature dropped nearly 10 degrees from the previous day’s high. The bands—The AXIS Worship Band, Josh Wilson, Downhere, and Matthew West—set the stage for a great event, playing family-friendly music that everyone could enjoy. The night was capped off with an amazing 30-minute fireworks display set to music. The massive crowd, estimated to be around 30,000 to 35,000 people, roared its approval as the grand finale lit up the night sky over the RHEMA campus and set off car alarms with massive explosions.

An event like this wouldn’t be possible without the hard work of the many volunteers who gave so freely of their time. A big “thank you” also goes out to each and every sponsor that helped make this event such a big success!
